Figment Studios is a very casual Austin recording studio located in north central Austin. A pleasurable place to work and create ideas from your imagination to a final CD product. Figment opened its doors in 1991 and has been recording and working with some of the best Austin has to offer.
Figment has recorded music from artists that play internationally to local singer-song writers that have made Figment their place for music production, idea consultation, and goal setting, to small budget demos that get artists out and playing live.

After years of recording experience at several studios in Austin I happened upon Rick's and will never record anywhere else. I have produced four albums at Figment Studios, including a most complicated project that entailed not only music but dialogue and sound effects. As engineer, Rick was always up to the task and the studio provided both the space and intimacy that was required.
